This is a brief description of the Wind
Ensemble

Wind Ensemble
The
members of this group may be selected from any grade level on the basis of
superior performing ability and attitude. All students must audition to be
placed in this class. Only the most motivated students should be encouraged
to audition for placement in the wind ensemble. Placement in the class is
considered both an honor and Varsity participation. Students will be
performing with one performer to a musical part in most instances. Any
missed rehearsals or performances will gravely affect the remainder of the
ensemble. Students and their parents should be aware of the commitment that
is involved before considering participation in the class.
Students
that are members of the Wind Ensemble will be REQUIRED to be members
of the marching band.
